Bio
Im originally from England, just spent a little over 4 and a half years in the USA from which i have recently arrived back in the UK, currently living in the lake district with my wife and son Oliver who was born December 4th (08)
Experience:
i have the usual house partys that most DJ's have under there belts and also 2 years DJing in a local nightclub (way back at end of 1998 - 2000) where i used to live, using CDJ's (i had decks, the club didnt), that mainly consisted of a basic warmup set, charty house and garage and then into Hard House and Trance. Since then ive slipped far more into the production side of music, which i find a little more for-filling, some sample tracks can be found on the download page.
DJ Name:
Credit falls to my wife on this one. back in 2000 the word sprang up during a "deep" conversation i was having with her and it seemed to hold some significance (of course it certainly does now and that could just been a self-fulfilling prophecy, who knows!!)
its stuck with me ever since, and i guess in a way it feels like a second name now. The word stems from the latin for "three cornered" and can be spelt two ways, "Triquatra" or "Triquetra" - I've chosen to spell it this way (Triquatra) because I think it looks and sounds better. There are a few uses and meanings to the symbol which anyone can look up on google, i might add at this point, that i have never watched charmed, in fact i've avoided it as im no fan of buffy-style "fantasy". I have been informed they use it alot in that, but i want make sure people dont think ive taken it from being some sort of fan of the TV series.
im much more of a sci-fi lover.
The word/name is more personal, it represents a special time in my life.
The Music:
My styles range right across the dance music genre, from DnB to Trance, from Hardcore to Chillout.
you will mainly find me DJing Hardcore at the moment.
Personally - i listen to a mixture of everything: Trance to House, Rock to Rap, Jazz to Chillout, Hardcore to Chillout, Classical to Drum n Bass all across the board. One of my opinons (of which there are many) is that there is at least a handful of good music in each genre - its just some you have to look harder than others.
